Dilini joined the firm in 2010 as a trainee solicitor and qualified in July 2012 as an Employment and Pensions solicitor.
Dilini handles a wide range of employment work both advisory and contentious including compromise agreements, employment contracts, employment policies, grievance matters, restrictive covenants and Employment Tribunal litigation. Her recent employment work includes successfully defending a claim for unlawful deductions from wages, securing a Cost Order against two Claimants and exiting Company Directors.
In her pension role, Dilini undertakes advisory work for both Employer and Trustee clients. Her recent pension work includes advising on pension warranties in a corporate transaction, carrying out pensions due diligence, drafting scheme documentation and advising in respect of benefit equalisation. Dilini has also written a guide on Pensions Auto Enrolment.
Before starting with Silverman Sherliker Dilini worked as a case-worker and clerk at the London Employment Tribunals for the Ministry of Justice and also worked as a pension and employment paralegal at a large City firm.
