Navdip is a senior associate in our Family Department. She joined Silverman Sherliker in May 2016 having previously worked for other firms in Greater London. She is an enthusiastic and driven solicitor and has gained a wide range of experience as a result of significant ‘hands on’ contact with clients from the outset of her career, with the ability to handle matters sensitively.
She advises and assists clients across the full spectrum of contentious and non-contentious family/matrimonial issues including divorce, civil partnership dissolution, financial remedies and relationship breakdown. She also provides clients with comprehensive advice in relation to arrangements for children and is expert in drafting pre/post marital, cohabitation and separation agreements – with client interests remaining at the forefront.
Navdip has significant experience in cases involving cross-jurisdictional and international elements within Financial Remedy proceedings and has been successful in internal and external relocation Children Act applications as well as acrimonious contact and residence disputes, having represented a number of clients from Europe and the South Asian continent.
She prides herself on providing a service that is personal to each client and is committed to ensuring that all possible avenues are fully explored and matters are resolved as sympathetically as possible.
Navdip studied law at Queen Mary’s, University of London graduating in 2007. From there, she went on to study the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in Bloomsbury. Navdip completed her training contract at a specialist family law practice before qualifying as a solicitor in 2012. She continued to develop her practice before joining our specialist team in 2016.
Navdip is fluent in Punjabi and Hindi, and can advise and negotiate in the medium of both languages.
