Stefan qualified into the firm's dispute resolution department in September 2008 and works on a variety of matters, in particular property and commercial disputes

On the property side, Stefan regularly advises on possession and right to manage claims, forfeiture proceedings and disputes relating to rent arrears, acting on behalf of both landlord and tenant clients.

Stefan has a particular interest in lease extensions and enfranchisement (i.e. buying the freehold) claims after having successfully achieved this for his flat in Acton.

He is a member of the Property Litigation Association and a registered practitioner with the Leasehold Advisory Service.

On the commercial side, Stefan runs a busy debt recovery service for the firm's company clients, offering them a form of "internal debt recovery team" to enable them to pursue and resolve any bad debts in a cost efficient and prompt manner.

Stefan acts for a variety of insolvency practitioners, which has led to numerous claims before the Bankruptcy and Companies Court. He has gained substantial advocacy experience by appearing before Registrars and Judges at both County Court and High Court level, including working on the reported case of Dean v Stout (Trustee in Bankruptcy) [2005] EWHC 3315 (CH).

Stefan also undertakes a variety of licensing work, overseeing the full stage from application to implementation and attending the hearing at the Council if necessary. Stefan in particular advises in relation to applications for new premises and personal licences, and applications for Temporary Event Notices.

After finishing his law degree at Kings College London and LPC at the College of Law, he took a year out to volunteer his way around South America and enjoyed putting his Greek to good use by volunteering at the Olympic Games in Athens.

Stefan was promoted to the position of Associate in August 2013 and in 2014 moved on to the position of Consultant.
